The University of Texas at Austin,
Texas is Global Campaign
As lead Art Director and designer, I collaborated with Texas Global’s writing team to deliver a cornerstone campaign that reinforced UT Austin’s international mission and expanded the university’s global brand presence. This multifaceted effort included a custom-designed printed brochure and a 40+ slide executive presentation, both strategically aligned with UT’s brand standards and the Texas Global strategic plan.
Texas is Global Printed Brochure
At the request of the Senior Vice Provost for Global Engagement, I developed a tactile, visually impactful brochure that distilled the university’s international priorities into a concise and engaging format.
-
The piece features a custom folding mechanism that adds depth and interactivity, guiding the reader through key stats and global narratives.
-
A panoramic, illustrated design wraps around the cover, integrating iconic international landmarks to visually represent UT’s worldwide connections.
-
To enhance tactile quality, I applied a soft-touch coating with raised spot gloss on the title and logo, adding sophistication and reinforcing the premium tone of the piece.
This brochure became a key visual element in the “Texas is Global” campaign, used at high-level events, international meetings, and leadership briefings.

Executive Presentation Design
To further support leadership communications, I designed a companion PowerPoint presentation to help the Senior Vice Provost convey UT’s global message in greater depth to key stakeholders — including international partners, board members, high-level alumni, and global academic leaders.
-
The 41-slide deck was custom-built to reflect the tone and storytelling of the print piece while offering more detailed insight into UT’s international efforts.
-
The deck’s design was so well-received that the UT Director of Brand and Creative Strategy adopted select elements into core institutional communications.
-
It was later adapted into a branded template, expanding its utility as a strategic tool across departments.
🎯 Outcome: A polished, executive-level communications system that elevated UT’s global brand presence while setting a visual standard adopted across leadership and marketing teams.
